Interview with director Adam Del Deo:

On starting the process of the film

On gathering the archive footage

Deciding what to leave in and take out

On the Dancers

One, singular sensational Documentary. That is what I thought about Every Little Step. Del Deo and James D. Stern take us front row for the audition process surrounding the return of A Chorus Line. Mixing must see original footage and audio from those first sessions of Michael Bennett's along with current tryouts they create an informative and energetic feature. Reality TV has nothing on the grueling task that is the day to day life of a broadway audition. Meet those who live it and catch their passion for this art form.

As a fan of the musical I thought it was great hearing from those who took those first steps and risked all to see it happen. Then finding out the behind the scenes situations that led to what was the finished product made it even more engaging. Plus seeing the current dancers and what they go through was inspiring. These are people with great talent that will never get the publicity of most pop icons with half the talent.

Every Little Step is a fabulous documentary and one that must be seen by fans of any creative genre.
